I like how the panel opens but sometimes i dont want to open that huge panel. I was hoping maybe if we right click on that button that opens the big panel with all tabs, it just slides down the tab bar and we see rows of our tabs. They should of course be grouped, maybe like could share a common background color. And then when I click on a tab it will make that tab selected and the tab bar that was slid open to be wide now slides back up to one row and shows the row of the group of tabs that the current tab is in. I think this would be awesome!
Thanks for the votes peple Ill elaborate a little more on this cuz of the attention :D
If there are too many tabs then sliding open might take up half the screen or more. And as it slides open the browser content area gets shrunk, so maybe we can have a user setting where they can say max rows to slide open. And the rest can be seen with a vertical scroll, similar to the current horizontal scroll but now instead it will scroll rows.
Example using windows multi row tabs:
Except not that ugly windows style but real pretty firefox style with animation :)
Oh i guess a better title for this would be "Right Click to Quick Access - Slide Open & Click to Select and Slide Close"
